Work package 6 – Policy, Standards and Data protection

The objective of this Work Package is to review the status on current energy-policies and standards that are relevant to the project. Also the data protection issues are to be analysed, in particularly resting upon the USEF framework. With the standardization plan, EnergyKeeper expects to play an active role in the international standardization activities. Futhermore the work package tries to link the innovative storage technology with European energy policies. Providing its’ potential contribution to the European energy goals and indicate the potential impact of technology deployment. Last but surely not least are the considerations needed on data protection. The protection of data on energy storage together with monitoring and control of generation and use is analysed.
