The first meeting of the EnergyKeeper project was organised on 31 January and 1 February 2017 by the The Lithuaninan Energy Institute (LEI) in Kaunas, Lithuania. The meeting highlighted the start of the EnergyKeeper project in which the consortium will work on developing and testing a novel 100kW redox flow battery with a capacity of 350 kWh equipped with an interoperable Battery Management system. In a nice, but cold Kaunas the project partners discussed the different work packages and working appointments for the first period were made. Besides that, the interesting research facilities of the Lithuaninan Energy Institute were visited. The start was promising, we are looking forward to an inspiring and productive project!
